A Cloudy Lesson
I came across a fantastic language site towards the end of last term called The Literacy Shed
One of the pages that really caught my attention had a link to a great video called ‘A Cloudy Lesson.’ We watched it a few times and as a writing task, I asked my students to do a voice over. They were really good and a few wanted to add it to the video. I have been unable to contact the original author but hopefully they won’t mind us adding to their amazing animation.
Well done to Kwergan and Jorgia for putting this video together.
Kwergan and Jorgia, I really enjoyed your voiceover for this animation. I am a teacher from Devon in England and was browsing ‘The Literacy Shed’ when I too came across this clip. I was intrigued to see how other schools had used it, so popped the name into Google and came across your blog. I’m glad I did! Do you mind me sharing your video with my class once we have had a go on our own?
P.S I have to admit, I had no idea where Bunbury was and had to google it too!
Hi Miss L,
I will pass on the message to Kwergan and Jorgia when I see them next. They have gone to separate High Schools this year but I do see them from time to time. Our class really enjoyed the activity and everyone had a go. I really enjoyed their interpretation too.
I was fortunate enough to have my first visit to England last Christmas holidays as both of my sons are working in London as chefs. Unfortunately, I never got to Devon. Hopefully next time.
Will it possible for you to share a few examples of your work?
